Hi everyone! It's time for a new challenge at Papertake Weekly. Since it's the last Tuesday of the month, it's sketch week! I adore sketch week cause Dawny takes all the guessing out of the process. And this week is awesome cause you get to use your choice of any Papertake Weekly sketch! How awesome is that?? We are being sponsored by the fabulous Heidi from Simon Says Stamp. So pick your favorite PTW sketch and let the paper bits fly!  Here's what I came up with for you today. First, here's one of my many favorite sketches by Dawny

And this is what I did with it

I used a fun Saturated Canary digital image and colored it with Copic markers. The papers are Authentique Carefree matted with Bazzill cardstock. The flowers and corners are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the ribbon is May Arts.

Please be sure and pop over to Papertake Weekly to check out my teamies gorgeous creations. And then we'd love it if you'd grab your paper and glue and play along with us!

Magnolia-licious Blog Hop Time!!

Hey everyone! It's the 3rd Monday in the month, and you Magnolia-licious fans out there knows what that means! It's time for a Design Team Blog Hop!!! And this month, our theme is "Back to School"!! Now if you've made your way here from visiting my very talened friend Cheryl Rowley, then you're in the right spot! If not, then you'll want to start at Magnolia-licious Highlites so you don't miss a thing! Here's what I've created for today

I used a total of SIX Magnolia stamps on this card! LOL! I thought I'd never finish coloring. And considering it usually takes me at least an hour and a half for each image, that's a lot of coloring. LOL! Of course it didn't take me that long for the pencil and ruler! LOL!  The stamps I used are: #252 Editor Tilda and #320 Autumn Tilda with Pencils from the Turning Leaves Collection. I also used #508 Kitchen Bench, Tilda with crossed legs reading, the pencil, and also the ruler. I don't have numbers for those as they've been around a number of years, but if you're interested I'm sure Diana can let you know if she can order them for you!!

They're stamped with Memento ink onto Cryogen White paper and then colored with Copic markers. Magnolia-licious is your one stop source for anything Magnolia! Diana carries the best selection at the best prices! Not only do you get a discount from list price off the top, but you also earn a 2% credit with every purchase! Diana also carries an extensive array of gorgeous dies from places such as Memory Box, Cheery Lynn, and Marianne!! Be sure to visit Magnolia-licious today!! The papers are from Echo Park matted with Bazzill cardstock. I added some lace and some cheesecloth for some extra texture. The ribbon is from May Arts topped with some flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts. Here's a pic of the inside where I used Autumn Tilda with Pencils.

Now I have a few extra older Magnolia stamps I'd like to send to a new home. If you're interested in giving them a good home. just be sure you're a follower as I'm going to randomly pick some winners.  Now it's time to hop on to see what my fabulously talented teamie Janiel has made for your delight today! I'm sure you're gonna LOVE it! Thanks so much for hopping with us today, and hope to see you back again soon! Hugs!

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:
Mad for Markers - Anything goes
Stamptacular Sunday Challenges - Let's Hear it for the Girls
Just Magnolia and hAnglar & stAnglar - Back to School

And then my take on it...
Isn't Pippa Popcorn so much fun?? I am just crazy about this entire release! When I created the card, I wanted the little pearl pieces to look like popcorn kernels, and I also wanted it to look like buttery hands had been handling the card. So I shhhmeared yellow in bits and spots around the card. Now please hop on to see the rest of the gorgeous creations from all the Krafty Girls and Guests! And hope you join us tomorrow for the big release blog hop! Thanks for stopping by to see me today and hope to see you back tomorrow! Hugs!

These circular sentiment stamps have been created and designed by the totally talented Krafty Girl, Nicole Aspinall!! They are made especially to fit in your 1 3/8ths and 1 ¾ inch punches, for quick and easy cutting!!...
This month we are releasing the HALLOWEEN Trinkets set which includes EIGHT trinkets in each set with four of each size and they come as both positive and negative images, so you can use your black or brown ink with the positive stamps and use your coloured inks with the negative ones!!

A lot of the Krafty Girls are cardmakers and we have found these to be such a quick and easy way to add a sentiment to our creations but they are also perfect for your Smashbook pages and your scrapbook pages, not to mention your altered items and tags!! This fun image is available right now for FREE over at Peggy Loves Vintage blog!! If you love vintage images, you are going to LOVE Peggy Loves Vintage! She has the most amazing collection of vintage images for any and all occasions! You can get full CDs or sheets of cutouts at her etsy store, and if you haven't been by to see her in a while, she now has a new store front at Art Fire where you can buy a single image!!! Please be sure to leave her a little love to let her know you were there!

I simply cut out a word bubble with the Shilhouette Cameo and printed both that and the sentiment across the bottom from my computer. Of course I HAD to use my hubby's name, cause that's exactly they way he would act. LOL! Please be sure and pop over to Papertake Weekly to check out all my teamies fabulous creations, and then we'd love it if you'd grab your paper and glue and play along with us! Kraftin' Kimmie - Animals or insects please

It's tme for a new challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge Blog, and this week our hostess with the mostest is the fabulously talented Ms Angie Baker.  She is challenging us to use an animal or insect, so no people this time! With all the amazing Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps out there, I'm sure you've got something that will work just fine! Here's what I came up with. Remember you must use a Kraftin' Kimmie image to be eligible for the challenge prize!

Isn't this little pooch the absolute cutest little thing??? She was fun to color too! She's from Canine Capers 1 which comes with three absolutely adorable pooches and four coordinating sentiments. I stamped her with Memento ink onto Cryogen White paper and then colored with Copic markers. The light fur is E50, 51, and 53. The darker color fur is E23, 25, and 27. The papers are old Basic Grey (the name is escaping me right now...but the line has dogs and cats) sorry!. I matted  it with Bazzill cardstock and machine stitched the layers. The horizontal panel was embossed. The ribbon is May Arts and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Kimmie has an AMAZING sale going on. It's Emileigh's Extravagant Sale, and there are currently 65, yes I said 65!!!!,  amazing images on sale for anywhere from 30 - 50% off!!! RUN, don't walk, to this magnificent sale before what you want is sold out!!! Thanks so much for stopping by to see me today, and I hope you join us at the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge Blog to play along with us this week! Hugs!

Hey everyone! It's Tuesday again, and that means it's time for a new challenge at Papertake Weekly! This week it's "Anything Goes" and an option is to use felt. We are sponosred this week by Lili of the Valley.  Here's what I came up with for you today.

I pretty much failed with using the fall theme for the Magnolia-licious challenge, so thought I'd rectify that with this card. LOL! The new Turning Leaves Collection has the most amazing images in it, and this is one I immedieately fell in love with! She was so much fun to color! I used #291 Scooter Tilda. She's stamped with Memento ink and colored with Copics.

Please be sure to pop over to Papertake Weekly and check out my teamies fabulous creations! Then we'd love it if you'd grab your paper and glue and play along with us! Thanks so much for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you back again soon! Hugs!

Time for a new Kraftin' Kimmie challenge!

Hey everyone! It's Saturday (WOOHOO!) which means it's time for a new challenge from Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge Blog! Todays hostess with the mostest is the amazingly talented and fabulous Kerry!  Kerry's challenge to us this week is to use the "out of the box" technique. Now if you haven't tried this, you should! It's lots of fun and quite simple to accomplish. .  Here's what I came up with

For my card, I used the gorgeous image of Jayne! I just love her! She's stamped with Memento ink onto Cryogen White and then colored with Copic markers.  I used circle Nestabilities for the out of the box technique.

The floursihes, border, and card frame are from the Silhouette store, Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and I used a Viva Decor Pearl Pen for all the pearls.

Please pop over to Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge Blog to see all the gorgeous creations by the rest of the Krafty Girls and Guests, and then we'd love to see you use this technique with one of your Kraftin' Kimmie images for a chance to win the Smells Like Teen Spirit image that Kerry used on her fabulous card! Thanks for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you back again soon! Hugs!

Magnolia-licious Design Team Sketch Challenge!!

Hey everyone! Oh my gosh, I can't believe it's the first of August already! Sheesh...  But that means it's time for a new monthly challenge from the Design Team over at Magnolia-licious. And this month, our fabulous Queen Diana chose the theme, and it was fall splendor! Well, I pretty much missed the mark on this one. LOL! I did use one of the amazing images from the new Turning Leaves Collection which is available right now over at Magnolia-licious! Diana carries a HUGE selection of Magnolia images, including the mini stamps too! And not only does she have amazing customer service, but her prices are the best around. Especially when you consider with every purchase, you earn a 2% store credit.  So the challenge is fall splendor, and I'll just say that I  truly did "fall" in love with Tilda Makes a Blueberry Blanket.

Please be sure and pop over Magnolia-licious Highlites Blog to check out the rest of my teamies gorgeous creations, then we'd love it if you'd join us in the challenge. Thanks so much for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you back again soon. I'm making an actual FALL card to make up for my lack of fall colors with this one. LOL! Hugs!
