It's spring time at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Hi everyone! Hope you're enjoying your weekend and that you've got nice spring weather! It's time for a new challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge Blog,  and this week our hostess with the mostest is my friend and wickedly talented Amanda! Amanda has asked us to make a project with the theme of spring. Here's what I came up with for you today

I chose to use an adorable Lulu from the brand new set Playtime Lulu which is available for purchase right now over at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps. Isn't she the cutest??!!!  She's stamped with Memento ink onto Cryogen White paper and then colored with Copic markers. The papers are Graphic 45 matted with Bazzill cardstock. The sentiment is computer generated, and of course my standard bow.  Please be sure and pop over to Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge Blog to check out what my teamies have been up to, and then we'd love it if you'd play along with the challenge. Amanda used the new Flower Girl Rose on her card, so that's the stamp you'll have a chance to win. Thanks for stopping by to see me today, and hope you have a fantastic weekend! hugs!

Papertake Weekly - It's sketch week!

Hey everyone! Hope your Monday went well and that the week is being good to you. It's time for a new challenge at Papertake Weekly, and since it's the last Tuesday of the month, that means it's sketch week and that we're sponosred by the awesome Simon Says Stamp.

I used another one of the fabulous images that was just released from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! This adorablle snail is from Bug Buddies 2 and it's just too much fun! He's stamped with Memento ink onto Cryogen White paper and then colored with Copic markers. All of the layers are double matted with Bazzill cardstock and I simply added one of the sentiments from the set along with a cute green bow and called her done! All of the layers are machine stitched.

The papers are old ones from a 6"x6" set of Chloe's Closet by Making Memories.  So that's it for me today. Please be sure and pop over to Papertake Weekly to see the rest of the amazing creations by my teamies. And then we'd really love it if you'd grab your paper and glue and play along with us! Thanks for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you back again soon! Hugs!

I've got two cards to show you today. The first one is my sketch card

For this one I've featured the gorgeous Dorothy and one of the sentiments from the Wizard of Oz Sentiments set. She's stamped with Memento ink onto Cryogen White paper and then colored with Copic markers. She's cut out with Round Nesties. A Martha Stewart border punch is used for the scalloped border, and the papers are MME matted with Bazzill Cardstock. I used some of that crystal garland that I've had in my stash for forever, and added a May Arts silk ribbon bow topped with a paper flower.

The next card shows off the amazing Scarecrow! I looooove him!!!!!

Isn't he just too fun???!!! And he was fun to color too! He's stamped with Memento ink onto Cryogen White paper and then colored with Copic markers. The sentiment I used comes with him, and I can see myself using this one a LOT! LOL! The papers are by Jillybean matted with Bazzill cardstock. I used a Martha Stewart punch around the page set to make the solid panel. Other than that, I simply added a small piece of tattered cheesecloth and a button with a twine bow.

FUN! I've chosen to work with two of the images, and both are from Bug Buddies 2.  First up is the bee

I used the Cricut Expression and Wild Card cartridge for the card shape and circles. The papers are Bazzill Cardstock and the polka dot is Nitwit Collections. The fence is a Magnolia Doohickey die and the sentiment (which comes with the stamp set) is on an oval Nestie. That adorable bee was stamped with Memento ink onto Cryogen White paper and then colored with Copic markers.  The little flowers on the fence are just from a little flower punch with a dab of yellow Viva Decor Pearl pen in the center.

Isn't it fun?  And I liked it so much, I had to do another one with the ladybug!! LOL!

And a little pic showing both of them together...

Papertake Weekly - A stitch in time

Hey everyone! It's time for a new challenge at Papertake Weekly, and this week Dawny's challenge is "A Stitch in Time"! And the best part is we're sponsored by the lovely ladies Andrea and Mary from The Ribbon Girl!  So use any type of stitching on your project, real or fake. I was a little pushed for time this weekend, so I put together a tag for you today. It may have been quick and easy, but I still love how it turned out.

I used the Cricut Expression and the Don Juan cartridge for the tag shape (isn't it cool?).  Then I used that cute little crab critter stamp from Paper Smooches and colored it up with Copic markers, then fussy cut it out. Then came the fun part.... I popped it onto an Action Wobble. How can you use these and get anything done??!! I just wanted to keep wobbling the crab! LOL! Anyway, I inked the background with Distress inks and then ripped a piece of cardstock and inked the edges with chalk ink. Then popped the little wobble crab on top. Oh, that was after stamping the sentiment onto the background too.  Please be sure and pop over to Papertake Weekly to see all my talented teamies fabulous creations, and then we'd love it if you'd grab your paper and glue (and maybe even a wobble) and play along with us! Thanks for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you back again soon! Hugs!

I've entered this in Paper Smooches inspiration challenge

Time for a Magnolia blog hop featuring Tilda's family

Hey everyone! Hope you enjoyed your weekend! Mine went way too fast and I'm ready for another one already. How can two days pass by sooo quickly??!!  Anyway, it's the third Monday in the month, and that means it's BLOG HOP time for the Magnolia-licious Design Team!! This months theme is "Lots of Lucious Lace!" Well, I love lace, and I pretty much took it overboard with this challenge. LOL!  If you've arrived here from my visiting my talented friend and design team sister, Cabio, then you're on the right track. If not, you might want to visit Magnolia-licious Highlites to start at the beginning.  So this is what I've come up with you for today

I chose to use #251 Tilda's Family, which is stamped with Memento ink onto Cryogen White paper and colored with Copic markers. This image is from the Princes and Princesses Collection available at Magnolia-licious. They are then fussy cut out and the popped up from a circle frame cut with Nestabilities. The DP's are MME matted with Bazzill cardstock. I added lace around circle frame, and also used some to make a flower (although I'm not really sure I like the way it turned out).  I made some paper lace using #23 Magnolia Doohickey Antique Lace die (down the left side), and then topped it off by using the lacey Memory Box Butterflie dies, #70 Darla, and #71 Vivienne. That's right! You can not only find the largest selection of Magnolia stamps at the best price at Magnolia-licious, but you can also find an amazing array of fabulous dies as well!! Diana always offers the best prices with the best service!!!

All layers are machine stitched and several are popped up for dimension. I added a bow made with May Arts silk ribbon and the Bow Easy. Here's a nice close up of that gorgeous butterfly!

So that's it for me today. It's now time for you to move on to visit the fabulously talented Ruby! I know she's got something amazing for you to see! Thanks so much for hopping with us today, and hope you play along with us at Magnolia-licious Highlites for a chance to win an awesome prize from Diana!! Sending you wishes for a wonderful week! Hugs!

Papertake Weekly - April Showers!

Hey everyone! It's time for a new challenge at Papertake Weekly, and ths week it's all about April Showers! So let's see anything about water ie raindrops, the sea, however you interpret it. We are sponsored by Whiff of Joy. so be sure to enter for a chance to wim an awesome prize! Here's what I came up with for you

I used an adorable image from Peggy Loves Vintage from her New Baby Volume 2 cd. I love using her images! I was running a little behind in getting a card done for this today, so I was able to print this out, mat it on some cardstock, and finish this card up in no time at all!

Isn't this image so precious??!!  The colors didn't translate very well into digital form. The papers I used are Nitwit Collections matted with Bazzill cardstock and machine stitched. I added some lace and ribbon from my stash, and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

So that's it for me today! Please be sure to check out Peggy's images, she has something for everyone! If you're not following her blog, you might want to consider it. She is VERY generous in giving away free vintage images!   Also please pop over to Papertake Weekly to check out all my teamies gorgeous creations, and then we'd love it if you'd grab your paper and glue and play along with us! Hey everyone! It's time for a new challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie's Challenge Blog, and this week, the challenge is tags! Either create a tag, or use a tag on your project. I used the adorable Tabitha from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Moonlight Whispers line.

She's stamped with Memento ink onto Cryogen White paper and then colored with Copic markers. The frame is made using an oval and petite scalloped oval Nestie. The banner is from the Papertrey Ink banner builder dies with a little twine added. The papers are from Nitwit Collections matted with Bazzill cardstock. The tag is from another metal die that I got YEARS ago at a Cricut swarm, but there's no name on it. It has four different small dies on it. I just attached it to the bow using a safety pin from my stash. The pearls were made with a Viva Decor pearl pen.

So please don't forget to check out all my talented teamies gorgeous creations over at Kraftin' Kimmie's Challenge Blog. Then we'd love it if you'd join us for a chance to win!!

Don't forget about Kimmie's Frugal Friday specials this week! There are SIX fantastic images that are on sale 40-50% off!!  They are Marina, Annette, Kimiko, Krista, Tweets and Twitters 1, and Spring Friends!!  Thanks for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you back again soon! Hugs !

Papertake Weekly - Anything goes

Hey everyone! I can't believe it's already Tuesday again, and it's time for a new challenge from Papertake Weekly. Since it's the first Tuesday of the month, we are being sponsored by none other than Lili of the Valley, and our challenge is anything goes with an option of going monotone. And as you can tell, I chose not to do the option this week. Here is what I've come up with for you. (this is my April class card - so if you're in Reno, I'd love to see you in class!)

I used this irresistable #3059 Tilda in Ballet Shoes from the fabulous Princes and Princesses Collection which is available at Magnolia-licious! Does it get any cuter than her? I don't think so! LOL! I love everything about her! She's stamped with Memento ink onto Cryogen White paper and then colored with Copic markers. She's then cut out with circle and petite scalloped circle Nestabilities.

The papers are Graphic 45 matted with Bazzill cardstock. I used a Martha Stewart butterfly border punch, and then I used a couple of dies:  The flourish is a Magnolia Doohickey die, and the butterfly  is Memory Box #70 Darla Butterfly and #71 Vivienne Butterfly. The bow was made usuing May Arts silk ribbon, and the rose in the butterfly is from Wild Orchid Crafts. I added three ice green adhesive pearls and lots of machine stitching, and this one was finished.

Please pop over to Papertake Weekly to check out all my talented teamies creations for you today, and then we'd really love it if you'd grab your paper and glue and play along with us! Thanks for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you back again soon! Hugs!

It's time for a new Magnolia - licious challenge!!

Good morning, everyone! Happy April 1st! Hope you're not having too many April 1st jokes played on you. :)  With it being the first of the month, that means it's time for a new Design Team Challenge from Magnolia-licious! This month our challenge is from our awesome Ruby, and it is to make baby themed projects/gift sets.  You can read all about it and see all our projects over at the Magnolia-licious Highlites Challenge Blog. Here's what I came up with for you today

I used the Cricut Expression with the Sweet Tooth Boxes cartridge for the box and then had some fun decorating it. with #201 Baby Tilda from the new Princes and Princesses Collection from Magnolia-licious!! I simply adore this enire collection!! I did alter her just a tad by cutting off the butterfly and replacing it with a little "welcome" sign. I sat precious little Baby Tilda on this FABULOUS #542 Sweet Moon! I am going to be using this moon a LOT, LOL! I LOOOOOVE it!!!  The images are stamped with Memento ink onto Cryogen White paper and then colored with Copic markers (listed below). I then fussy cut them out and popped them up from some gorgeous Graphic 45 paper.

I used a Martha Stewart PAP set with some Bazzill cardstock. There's lots of machine stitching and the only other thing I added are some pearls made with the Viva Decor Pearl Pen. Very simple, but I do like how it turned out.

Magnolia-licious is THE place to go for all your Magnolia purchases!! Diana carries an extensive stock of Magnolia images with the best prices and the best service!! Not only do you receive an automatic discount, but she also gives you in store credit for every purchase!! You can get not only the normal sized images, but Diana is your source for the Mini-Magnolias as well!! She also carries an awesome array of gorgeous dies too!!

Copics used are clothing: YG61, 63, C3, T1, 2, blender pen; hair: E51, 53, 57, 31, 33; Crown: Y32, 35;  Moon: E51, 53, Y32, E33, R20; skin: E13, 11, 01, 00, with a touch of R20 on her knees. I used chalk on her cheeks.

My plans are to stamp and color the moon on a onsie to put in the box. I just couldn't get it done by today. So that's my baby gift set for you today. Please be sure to pop over to Magnolia-licious Highlites to check out my teamies gorgeous creations. And then we'd love it if you'd join us in the challenge. Thanks so much for stopping by to see me today and hope to see you back again soon! Hugs!
